Hypnobirthing
The stripped back birth program (formerly affinity birthing) combines hypnobirthing techniques alongside the knowledge I have gained through supporting so many women as a birth and postnatal Doula.

As well as preparing yourself of your options and the anatomy of birth, learning to be able to harness the strength of your mind to facilitate utter relaxation to allow your body to do exactly what it was made to do is just as key.
I am so proud to say I am a Wise Hippo Instructor, the training of which is accredited by the Royal College of Midwives.
The Wise Hippo Birthing Programme is a 10 hour course (that runs as 4 x 2.5 hour classes). I provide a workbook and 5 x mp3s to support your relaxation practice at home.
This programme goes beyond just hypnobirthing, offering you tools for life. I can teach you how to trust your instincts and make decisions that are right for you in a calm and confident way, whilst allowing yourself to be guided by your emotions instead of controlled by them. It’s time for you to take control of your birth & beyond.
“Laura’s hypnobirthing groups are small and intimate in the comfort of her home. They are so relaxed, which allowed us to really connect with the other couples and work through our own individual needs in the lead up to our births. The relaxations were so gorgeous, I could listen to her voice all day long”.
